Apink's Jeong Eun-ji to release solo EP 'Summer, I' in August

Apink's Jeong Eun-ji is set to release her fifth solo EP "Summer, I" on Aug. 11, her agency Billions said Wednesday.

The upcoming project will mark Jeong's first solo EP over six years after her fourth EP "Simple" was released in July 2020. It will also be her first solo album of any kind in three years and nine months since the remake album "log," released in November 2022.

A teaser image of the EP was released Wednesday on the singer’s official social media account, showing index files stacked on each other alongside polaroid photos and handwritten notes.

Jeong debuted in 2011 as a member of girl group Apink with the EP "Seven Springs of Apink." She launched her solo career in 2016 with her first solo EP "Dream."

She made her acting debut in 2012 through tvN's hit series "Reply 1997" and has since remained active in both music and acting.

Jeong is also set to perform at the "Her Voice" concert in Taiwan on Sept. 5, an event featuring female singers.
